The Danish childhood vaccination programme as per 1 July 2004

Vaccinations are given by the local general practitioners who also give advice to the parents. There is no fee for vaccinations given to persons under 18 years of age. Women may be vaccinated against rubella free of charge.

* Concomitant annual general children’s physical examination. No vaccines are given in connection with the 5 week- and 2, 3, and 4 year annual examinations.
